| FAMILY TO FAMILY |
|
  A free 12 week class for family, friends and caregivers of adults who have schizophrenia, schizo-affective, bipolar disorder, major depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder or other severe mental illnesses. You will learn how to support your loved one with mental illness and keep yourself healthy during times of crisis.

| NAMI BASICS |

  A six session course for any Parent or Primary Caregiver of a Child or Adolescente Living with Mental Illness.
CORE ELEMENTS INCLUDE:
The traums of mental illness for the child and the family.
The biology of mental illness: getting an accurate diagnosis
The latest research on the medical aspects of illness and advances in treatment.
The impact of a child's mental illness on the rest of the family--caregivers and siblings.
An overview of the systems involved in caring for children and teens.

| PEER TO PEER |
|
   A nine part course, 2 hour per session, for people with a diagnosis of mental illness interested in establishing and maintaining wellness. Run by a team of peer-teachers, this course uses lecture, exercises and a shared diversity of experiences among course participants.
